About the Program

Why Preparedness
Saves Lives

The Philippines consistently ranks among the world's most disaster-prone nations. Quezon City's District 2 is home to diverse communities that face risks from earthquakes, flooding, fire, and other hazards.

This program is designed and coordinated by the District 2 Local Government in partnership with the Bureau of Fire Protection, Philippine Red Cross, and Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Committees (BDRRMCs).
